Video: Footage of CM Punk hiding under the ring moments before attacking Drew McIntyre on Raw ahead

With Bash in Berlin just a few days away, Drew McIntyre appeared on Raw to send a message to his opponent. However, CM Punk was in no mood to talk as he ambushed McIntyre with a belt. A little while before his attack, Punk went live on his Instagram story. The Second City Saint filmed himself watching the Scot speak while he hid under the ring.

As usual, McIntyre hurled insults at the former AEW wrestler. In fact, he accused Punk of pandering to the audience since his return. Moments later, the Best in the World’s music hit, and as shown on the Instagram live feed, he rushed out with a belt in hand. The duo brawled at ringside, with McIntyre gaining the upper hand. Punk fought back, whipping his rival’s back with the belt as security rushed down to separate both men.

This gave The Scottish Warrior time to escape the wrath of the 45-year-old. McIntyre jumped over the barricade and retreated to the back. However, Punk vented his anger at the security instead. The former WWE Champion brutalized three officials with the belt and stood tall ahead of this Saturday’s clash. Punk will be squaring off against McIntyre in a Strap Match at Bash in Berlin. 

At SummerSlam, CM Punk lost his first WWE singles match in a decade. After an enthralling back-and-forth encounter, Drew McIntyre put away The Voice of the Voiceless and snatched his personal bracelet back as well. Needless to say, Punkster will be walking into a must-win situation against his adversary in Berlin.

Will the rivalry between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre extend beyond Bash in Berlin?

The rivalry between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre has been going on since the start of the year. Despite the former’s injury, the pair somehow found ways to destroy each other. After a chaotic eight months, it seems fans might be close to seeing the end of this blood feud.

However, this Saturday’s Bash in Berlin bout isn’t expected to be the last time these two square off inside the ring. As per reports, a Hell in a Cell match lies in wait for the Bad Blood PLE in October. A rivalry as personal as this will most likely culminate inside the demonic structure.

In addition to that, Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan might be penned in for their blowoff match at the PLE. Morgan successfully defended her title against Ripley at SummerSlam after Dominik Mysterio betrayed his Mami. The Eradicator will team up with Damian Priest to take on the new power couple at Bash in Berlin.
