Bracket Stage Tiers

The eight teams were divided into four tiers. Tier 1 consisted of the top teams from the LCK and LPL while Tier 2 consisted of the top teams from the LEC and LCS. Meanwhile, the other four teams qualified through the Play Ins and were granted either the Tier 3 or Tier 4 Pool.

T1 and TES were granted Tier 3 for being undefeated in the Play Ins for their respective brackets, while Fnatic and PSG Talon qualified earlier today and were placed in Tier 4.

Bracket Stage Draw

For the draw, Tier 1 teams will play Tier 4 teams while Tier 2 and Tier 3 teams will face off against each other. There is also the rule about teams from the same region not being on the same side of the bracket.

This gives cross-regional matchups and some fun games. There is Double Elimination as well, but that will be revealed later. So here are the results of the draw.

  • Gen.G vs Fnatic
  • Team Liquid vs Top Esports
  • G2 Esports vs T1
  • Bilibili Gaming vs PSG Talon

These are our first four series of the tournament. The time has not been set yet but the teams now know who they are facing.
